HOPELESS ROMANTIC, MEETS NERDY POET, MEETS DIGITAL GENIUS.

THE DESIGNER

Before I was ever a business owner, I was just Abby. The goofball who had no shame in who she is, what she likes, and how she thinks. I have always been submersed in creative thinking, whether it's art galleries or late-night Pinterest searches. Loving the idea of creating something from nothing, the world of digital design came fairly easily to me. From taking online high school & graduating two years early, to teaching myself how to become a special effects makeup artist at the age of 15, I consider myself the "self-teaching queen." As you get to know me more, you will begin to see the "Real Abby"... not the business professional she told herself to be, but the Abby that loves to write poetry & design brands from scratch when she even feels an ounce of creativity. That's the Abby that you want on your team. The passionate unapologetically confident Abby.

SO, WHY DID I DECIDE TO BECOME A WEB & BRAND DESIGNER?

Becoming a web & brand designer was never in the plan. I never even thought I would own my own business. After covid, I was searching for something to do, something to fulfill me & make me feel useful (because god knows covid took away everyone's sense of purpose). I found virtual assisting and took on that project. I created my own website, Instagram graphics, my brand, and anything else I thought I needed. THIS was the moment I realized I loved the backend tasks. The elements every brand needs BEFORE launching. The pre-launch duties most business owners found headache-inducing... I found so fucking interesting. Flash forward 3 years and here I am today. My brand has changed so much, but it has adapted to what I needed at the time. I'm all about not letting your current brand hold you back from creating a new version of your brand. Release that shit & move forward.

BEFORE REALLY LEARNING WEB & BRAND DESIGN, I WOULD SPEND COUNTLESS HOURS SEARCHING PINTEREST FOR INSPO IN ORDER TO UPDATE MY WEBSITE & BRAND

(GOOD THING THIS DOESNT HAVE TO BE YOU TOO)

CUSTOM SERVICES

LEARN FROM MY MISTAKES & SAVE YOURSELF A LOT OF FUCKING TIME.

Design your website exactly like the one you see on Pinterest without purchasing the template or asking the designer for permission.

(DON'T DO THIS)

Portray yourself within your brand as someone you simply are not (Ex. Coming off more corporate or "professional" than you actually feel comfortable being)

Make your brand in exactly one day without putting any forethought on brand goals, dream clients, or brand adaptation.

Purchase a template or invest in a website buildout (and if you don't have the funds for either... do your research & build your own!)

(DEFINITELY DO THIS)

Be exactly who you fucking are within your brand. If you like to be crazy and wild... BE CRAZY AND WILD. Remember that your brand is an extension of you.

Give yourself a few weeks or months to REALLY think about what you want for your brand and how its going to look in a few years.
